Machine Learning Wins Fantasy Hockey Double Up

To test the underlying theory for our fantasy hockey machine learning prediction model, we entered a NHL fantasy hockey double up on February 19, 2018 on DraftKings.

A double up, for those of you not familiar with the is exactly what it says. The entry fee was $10 and we won $20. The double ups limit entries and usually pay half of the contestants by doubling their money. The contest we entered was a 114-player contest and featured $1,000.00 in total prizes and paid out the top 50 finishing positions. First place wins $20.00 all the way down to 50th place. We did just that.

As we said we have not yet finalized our model, but with this success we are excited that we are close to releasing our model for use on a daily basis.

Below is the lineup.
